INVITATION TO BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TRANSPORT VEHICLE AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS FOR THE OFFICIAL USE OF MSU-SULU

The Mindanao State University-Sulu, Jolo, Sulu, through its Trust Fund, intends to apply the sum of One Million
and Eight Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Pesos (Php. 1,800,000.00) as the Approved Budget for the Contract
(ABC) for payment of the Transport Vehicle and Medical Equipments. Bid received in excess of the ABC per project
shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
The MSU-Sulu now invites bids for the Purchase of Transport Vehicle and Medical Equipments. The specifications
are posted in the PhilGEPS website and the details of bidding activities are as follows:
Contract No.: V-001-22, Contract Duration: Thirty (30) Calendar days
Submission & Acceptance of LOI: August 8-23, 2022, during office hours
Issuance of Bidding Documents and Eligibility Requirement: August 23, 2022
Pre-bid Conference: August 23, 2022, 9:30 A.M.,
at the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration & Finance, MSU-Sulu, Jolo, Sulu
Deadline for Submission and Receipt of Bids: September 5, 2022, 9:30 A.M. BAC Secretariat, MSU-Sulu, Jolo, Sulu
Opening of Bids and Eligibility Check:
September 5, 2022, 9:30 A.M., at the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration & Finance,
Administration Bldg., MSU-Sulu, Jolo, Sulu
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criteria as
specified in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (Revised-IRR) of the Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184),
otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act.” Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole
proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interest or outstanding
capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the BAC and inspect the Bidding Documents at the BAC
Secretariat, Mindanao State University-Sulu, Jolo, Sulu, from Monday to Friday during office hours.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders at the MSU-Sulu BAC Secretariat,
upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos
(Php5,000.00), payable to the unit cashier’s office.
Pre-bid Conference will be opened to all interested parties; however, only those who purchased Bidding
Documents can participate in the discussion during the said conference.
Bid must be delivered at the Office of the BAC Secretariat, Administration Building, MSU-Sulu Campus, Jolo, Sulu,
on or before the date and time of submission and receipt of bid. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in
any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
Bid will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s/contractors or his duly authorized representatives who choose
to attend at the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration & Finance of Administration building, MSU-Sulu
Campus, Jolo, Sulu. Late bid will not be accepted.
The MSU-Sulu reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at
any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
